Details

This event is strongly suggested for begginers interested in joining a camping or backpacking event, and happens the second Wednesday of every month.

We will test our backpacks; Try to fill your bags full, bring hiking poles, and any gear you would like to test out, stoves, headlamps, water filters, tents, etc. It will be dark by the time we leave the trail, "this is intentional," please bring a light.

If you don't have all the gear (e.g. hiking backpack), that's okay! Please wear any backpack you have to simulate the extra weight. Our trips can be intense, and this is a great way for you to determine your hiking fitness (mental & physical) before a trip.
