Juneteenth Hike in New Hampshire - Franconia Ridge Trail Loop

I will be traveling to the northern Vermont/New Hampshire area soon, and plan to hike the Franconia Ridge Loop trail on Juneteenth, June 19th. I realize it's extremely unlikely that anyone in the Austin-area will also be in NH on June 19th to participate in this amazing hike, but wanted to post this event for two reasons: 1) If anyone in the northern VT/NH area finds this event on Meetup and wants to join me for the hike - it would be great to meet-up and hike with you. 2) I'm considering planning a New England hiking adventure for Austin friends in 2026. For the Austin peeps - would you be interested in an out-of-state hiking trip such as this? If so, please post a comment or send me a PM.

For many, hiking Franconia Ridge is a bucket-list hike. It's a very challenging hike with waterfalls, steep ascents and descents, amazing views from above tree-line, and even a visit to a New Hampshire hut along the way (Greenleaf Hut). Visit YouTube and search for "Franconia Ridge Loop" to learn more about the hike.
