Presentation Topic:
Randi will be giving an overview of our process of transforming Photoshop concepts into fully realized terrains in Hyper Light Breaker, using Houdini. I’ll cover why we chose terrain paints, how we leveraged Houdini’s compositor to break them apart, and how this data drives the creation of heightfields, points and other crucial elements that all come together in Unreal to shape the world of Hyper Light Breaker.
