Improv Games Workshop

This is a smaller improv session to workshop some of the games we play on Thursdays. We'll try new games, new variations, and new formats. So be prepared for hits or misses!

We will be at the Carver Branch Library. To allow for exploration and feedback, we've capped the limit a bit.

BFBL Improv is a space curated to help you let loose, have fun, and laugh without limitation in a friendly, engaging, and high-energy environment! This improv meetup is perfect for the beginner - all the way up to the most advanced improv warriors - no experience is required.
Through a super playful process, we'll help you discover your inner improv roots (aka superhero powers...) and what you discover may (and most certainly will) surprise you!
At these meetups you will:

• Play a variety of easy-to-learn, engaging, and outrageously fun improv games.
• Find comfort and true freedom in expressing your weird side.
• Learn the foundational basics of improv and perform successful scenes (even if it's your first time).
• Connect and make new friends within the Austin community!

What kind of games do we play?
We play short-form improv games designed to inspire collaboration and creative, out-of-the-box thinking and also dabble in a bit of improv scene work. If you've never done improv before, feel free to come see what we're all about!
