Staying on brand with this month's major holiday, we focused on a theme that most of us could argue is what makes us keep coming back to our favorite past time, emotional experiences.

Come join us as we discuss what it means to experience emotions in video games, or, AKA "I'm not crying, there's just something in my eye."

Spiritfarer is a cozy management game about dying. As ferrymaster to the deceased, build a boat to explore the world, care for your spirit friends, and release them into the afterlife.

All Game of the Month meetings will be virtual via Discord (Discord link sent out upon joining group).
There is always no pressure to finish a game. Just play what you can and share your findings 😀.

What we're about
New game every month:

1. We currently meet on the last week of every month where we will take turns discussing and evaluating the game (nothing serious, just for fun!) as well as get to know one another.
2. At the end of every meetup attending members will get to vote for next months game from a curated selection based on a central theme.

We stick to indie (or indie adjacent) games as they are generally smaller in scale and likely more interesting to talk about, for better or for worse 😅.
