Aquabats come on down to improve your paddling skills!

If you want a killer breakfast taco, Brad and Mark will meet at Fuegos 30 min before start time. It’s super close to the river:

If not, we convene at Rio Vista Whitewater Park at start time. Parking can be limited, so the later you arrive, the more likely you'll need to park further away on the street.

This is a class II whitewater park, so it is a great place to learn the fundamentals of whitewater paddling with experienced river runners. You’ll also meet new people in the river community.

Aquabats looking to practice Kayak Polo boat skills like rolling and advanced strokes are also welcome to come through and stay in the flatwater section of the river.

If you do not have a boat/gear, let Brad or Mark know in advance.

The water is a steady temperature because the river is spring-fed, even when the air temperature is cold. It typically stays around 72° year-round.

Hope to see you there!
