Considered one of the best cities of the world (named World Heritage City in 2008 by UNESCO, “Best City in the World to visit” by Condé Nast in 2013; “Best Mexican destination by Food and Travel” in 2014), San Miguel de Allende is a magical and privileged place, located on the semi-arid high plain of Central Mexico, in the state of Guanajuato, near the area known as the “Bajío”, which is why it is said to be at the center, at the very heart of Mexico.

Thanks to its location and elevation SMA enjoys –what many call— “a year-round spring-like climate”, which translates into cool mornings that gently ease into warm sun-filled afternoons and cooler –sometimes chilly— evenings. During December temperatures are 70° (day) /42° (night).

SMA’s historic downtown is easily explored on foot, offering breathtaking views at every turn. We will orient yourself to the parks alleys, churches and important historic and cultural highlights. Our walking tours are immersive experiences that combine both language learning and cultural awareness.

In this walking tour, you will get the chance to practice the skills acquired in the “A1 Course. De Vacaciones” and depending on your level, we will be offering personalized language tutoring that will allow you to create a writing souvenir to take with you by the end of the tour.

Sure. But if you would be interested to take advantage of the full experience you can take the course online before the walking tour’s allocated date(s).
