Cedar Breaks Park: Queer Hike & Coffee Social

Details
Join us for a 5-mile, out-and-back hike at Cedar Breaks Park along the edges of Lake Georgetown!
All open-hearted, open-minded humans are welcome! Since this is a sapphic group, we especially welcome queer women+, nonbinary folks, and trans friends. Leashed pets are welcome on this hike!
This hike includes slight elevation gains, rocky terrain, some unshaded stretches of trail, and a unique water and rock formation. Please keep in mind that this is June in Texas, and it's going to be hot. This will be a physically challenging hike.
We’ll introduce ourselves at the beginning of our little get-together, and there will be a 10-minute break in the middle of the hike.
IMPORTANT INFO
- There are no restrooms at the trailhead.
- There is a $5 entrance fee per vehicle. You can purchase your day use pass ahead of time.
- On-leash pets are permitted and very welcome.
We will meet at the San Gabriel River trailhead. If you can’t find a parking spot near the trailhead, there is ample parking nearby, but make sure you park in designated areas. They will ticket people who park on the grass within the park.
Afterward, we’ll meet at 309 Coffee in downtown Georgetown for a little social time.
Since this hike is about 45 minutes outside of Austin, we’ll coordinate carpooling via our Discord group. Please message Courtney or Braxton (organizers) or DM @ATXsapphichikingcrew on Instagram if you’d like to drive or ride and we’ll add you to the Discord group. It's also a good idea to join the group in case you're running late or need help finding us so you can reach out to us on the day of.
We do try to wait for any latecomers but in order to respect everyone's time, we will hit the trail no later than 30 minutes after the posted start time.
See you soon, friends! 🌈
