Canyon Creek Nature Trail: Queer Hike & Coffee Social

Join us for a 3-mile hike at Canyon Creek Nature Trail!

All open-hearted, open-minded humans are welcome! Since this is a sapphic group, we especially welcome queer women+, nonbinary folks, and trans friends. Leashed pets are welcome on this hike!

This hike includes slight elevation gains, rocky terrain, some unshaded stretches of trail, and a humongous live oak tree. We’ll stretch and introduce ourselves at the beginning, and there will be a 10-minute break in the middle of the hike.

IMPORTANT INFO

• There are no restrooms at the trailhead.
• On-leash pets are permitted and very welcome.

We will meet at Canyon Creek Trailhead park. If you can’t find a parking spot at the parking lot near the trailhead, there is ample neighborhood parking nearby. Please follow allow signage to ensure you're not fined or towed.

Afterward we'll have a coffee social at Slackers Brewing. They have coffee, beer, and food (including several vegan options).

For anyone who needs a ride, we coordinate carpooling via our Discord group. Please message Courtney or Braxton (organizers) or DM @ATXsapphichikingcrew on Instagram if you’d like to join the group. We recommend it in case you're running late or need help finding us so you can reach out to us on the day of.

We do try to wait for any latecomers but in order to respect everyone's time, we will hit the trail no later than 30 minutes after the posted start time.
