Copperfield Nature Trail: Queer Hike & Coffee Social
Details
Join us for a 3.5-mile hike in North Austin at the Walnut Creek Greenbelt followed by a coffee social! We'll be following the Copperfield Nature Trail.
All open-hearted, open-minded humans are welcome! Since this is a sapphic group, we especially welcome queer women+, nonbinary folks, and trans friends. Leashed pets are welcome on this hike!
This hike includes elevation gains, rocky terrain, and some unshaded stretches of trail. We’ll stretch and introduce ourselves at the beginning, and there will be a 10-minute break in the middle of the hike.
IMPORTANT INFO
- There are not restrooms at the trailhead.
- On-leash pets are permitted and very welcome.
- Parking is limited.
We will meet near the Copperfield Nature Trail trailhead. There is a parking lot off of East Yager Ln, but it’s not super huge, and it will most likely be busy at 11 am on a weekend. Carpooling is recomended.
Afterward we'll have a coffee social at Kick Butt Coffee.
For anyone who needs a ride, we coordinate carpooling via our Discord group. Please message Courtney or Brax (organizers) or DM @ATXsapphichikingcrew on Instagram if you’d like to join. We recommend joining in case you're running late or need help finding us so you can reach out to us on the day of.
We do try to wait for any latecomers but in order to respect everyone's time, we will hit the trail no later than 30 minutes after the posted start time.
See you soon, friends! 🌈
