Turkey Creek Trail: Queer Hike & Coffee Social

Join us for a 3-mile hike with your queer community at Turkey Creek Trail followed by a coffee social!

All open-hearted, open-minded humans are welcome! Since this is a sapphic group, we especially welcome queer women+, nonbinary folks, and trans friends. Leashed pets are welcome on this hike!

This hike includes elevation gains, rocky terrain, and some unshaded stretches of trail. We’ll stretch and introduce ourselves at the beginning, and there will be a short break in the middle of the hike.

IMPORTANT INFO

• There is usually one Porta Potty at the trailhead.
• On-leash pets are permitted and very welcome.
• Parking is limited.
• We follow the Leave No Trace principles.

We will meet at the parking lot at the Turkey Creek trailhead on City Park Rd. The parking lot is not super huge, and it will most likely be busy at 11 am on a weekend. Carpooling is recommended.

Afterward we'll have a coffee social at Epoch coffee on Far West Boulevard. There are multiple locations so make sure you go to the one on Far West.

For anyone who needs a ride, we coordinate carpooling via our Discord group. Please message Courtney or Braxton (organizers) or DM @ATXsapphichikingcrew on Instagram if you’d like to join. We recommend joining in case you're running late or need help finding us so you can reach out to us on the day of.

We do try to wait for any latecomers but in order to respect everyone's time, we will hit the trail no later than 30 minutes after the posted start time.
