ATX Sapphic Hiking Crew

Join us for a 3-mile hike in San Marcos at Purgatory Creek Greenspace followed by a spooky coffee social! We'll be following Dante's Trail and Backend Loop.

All open-hearted, open-minded humans are welcome! Since this is a sapphic group, we especially welcome queer women+, nonbinary folks, and trans friends. Leashed pets are welcome on this hike!

This hike includes elevation gains, rocky terrain, and some unshaded stretches of trail. We’ll stretch and introduce ourselves at the beginning, and there will be a 10-minute break in the middle of the hike.

IMPORTANT INFO

• There are no restrooms at the trailhead.
• On-leash pets are permitted and very welcome.

Afterward we'll have a coffee social at Wake the Dead coffee in San Marcos.

For anyone who needs a ride, we coordinate carpooling via our Discord group. Please message Courtney or Braxton (organizers) or DM @ATXsapphichikingcrew on Instagram if you’d like to join. We recommend joining in case you're running late or need help finding us so you can reach out to us on the day of.

We do try to wait for any latecomers but in order to respect everyone's time, we will hit the trail no later than 30 minutes after the posted start time.
