Rainbow Connections ATX (a program of Family Eldercare) invites ALL LGBTQIA+Two-Spirit people & allies ages 18-110 to come together & create community through potlucks, storytelling events, dances & more! We will be bringing activities all over Austin as well as the greater Austin area...we want to meet ALL of you! We are also actively seeking volunqueers.

AGE of Central Texas will host the 3rd annual LGBTQ+ Aging Mini-Conference on
June 14, 2025 from 10:00am-1:30pm at the AGE of Central Texas South Austin facility.
Presented by AARP Texas, this event is FREE to the public and will include three information sessions offering education on important topics related to aging and caregiving.

The 2nd Saturday of each month from 1-2pm on Zoom
This online support group for LGBTQIA2S+ Caregivers is a space of peer support led by Paige Schilt, LMSW and Robert Arambel, MSW Intern offered by Rainbow Connections ATX.All participants will be pre-screened to create a supportive space.
Once you have been pre-screened you will be given the Zoom info and are free to drop in as you need.Please do not share the group Zoom link - do feel free to share the interest form link (click & fill out to request a spot):

This support group is open to TwoSpiritLGBTQIA+ people 18-110 who are currently caregiving, have been a caregiver in the past, and even those that are in the anticipatory space of upcoming caregiving.
Allies caring for Qmmunity members specifically are welcome too!

Campfire Queer Storytime: Super Gay PoemsBookWoman joins Rainbow Connections ATX and the Vortex for a special edition of Campfire Queer Storytime: Super Gay Poems.
This month's Queer Storytime will feature a series of selected poems from Super Gay Poems: LGBTQIA+ Poetry After Stonewall by Stephanie Burt (Belknap Press 2025), read by members of the community.
Authors will include some of the most famous poets from the past 50 years, as well as some less-discovered gems.Join us for what is sure to be a lively and joyful celebration of Queer poetry, Queer community, and Queer PRIDE!
This is a FREE event. Adult topics.
