Rainbow Connections ATX (a program of Family Eldercare) invites ALL LGBTQIA+Two-Spirit people & allies ages 18-110 to come together & create community through potlucks, storytelling events, dances & more! We will be bringing activities all over Austin as well as the greater Austin area...we want to meet ALL of you! We are also actively seeking volunqueers.

The 2nd Saturday of each month from 1-2pm on Zoom
This online support group for LGBTQIA2S+ Caregivers is a space of peer support led by Paige Schilt, LMSW and Robert Arambel, MSW Intern offered by Rainbow Connections ATX.All participants will be pre-screened to create a supportive space.
Once you have been pre-screened you will be given the Zoom info and are free to drop in as you need.Please do not share the group Zoom link - do feel free to share the interest form link (click & fill out to request a spot):

This support group is open to TwoSpiritLGBTQIA+ people 18-110 who are currently caregiving, have been a caregiver in the past, and even those that are in the anticipatory space of upcoming caregiving.
Allies caring for Qmmunity members specifically are welcome too!

age is more than just a number ~ it’s a story!I often say that hanging out with older people is like getting a postcard from your future, and who wouldn't want to read that? It's not always the easiest thing to find somebody 30 years older or younger than you, life inevitably brings us to different spaces. We’ve done the work for you, and you’re invited!
AMAGING! is a collection of five people in the Queer Qmmunity in Austin, ages 65 and older who are willing to share their stories on stage. The audience is invited to shatter their pre-existing ideas of what aging means and re imagine a future inspired by the proof in front of them.
Proof that age is more than just a number ~ it's a story and story is the thing that connects us all.

We do have in person events again in the ATX area and once a month we gather on our Zoom link to have tea and chat.
We'd love to meet you! Please join our group if you plan on attending.
Your level of participation with audio and video is up to you but we do require interaction in the chat if you choose to be off camera.*All FUN FORCE! events are a supportive space for people to connect and share their thoughts ~ anyone found to be upsetting that balance will be disconnected.
