Come join Austin Jazz Society as they continue the longest-lasting jazz series in Georgetown. Set 1 block off the picturesque town square, the historic 1st Presbyterian Church offers an excellent Steinway piano, sound system and comfortable chairs. On top of that is the music of saxophonist Gil Del Bosque, who has been a fixture on the vibrant Austin jazz scene for many years. Joining him are the husband/wife team of Julianna Silveira and James Suter.

About Gil Del Bosque
Freelance saxophonist, composer Gil Del Bosque, based in Austin, TX. Holds a regular performing schedule in Austin as well as across the state of Texas. He has shared with the likes of Boyz II Men, Huey Lewis and the News, Aaron Neville, Chris Potter, Mike Clarke, Debbie Boone and salsa singer Olga Tanon.
In addition to performing, Gil currently teaches a studio of 40 saxophone and clarinet students. He has served as guest artist and clinician at various universities.
Gil released his debut album, "Here with You" on August 17, 2017. Recorded in Austin, TX accompanied by Chihuahua guitarist, composer, college professor and ex UNT alum, Armando Nunez Portillo, bassist Eric Ross, and BoDeans drummer, David Sierra. Also featured two of Austin's top trumpet players, Dr. Adrian Ruiz and Dr. Pete Rodriguez. Gil Del Bosque holds a Bachelors from the University of North Texas, and a Masters from the University of Texas in Austin. He has studied with saxophonist Willie Owens, Don Lefevre, Jim Riggs, Andrew Dahlke, Tom Luer, Bob Shepard, Woody Witt and Harvey Pittel.
