About Vaguely Familiar

Saxman Steven Vague leads the funky jazz group Vaguely Familiar. The group is comprised of the rhythm and horn sections of Austin’s long-running funky music group: Extreme Heat. Vaguely Familiar features Ken Mills on trombone and Marty Van Blair on keyboards and trumpet. Eddie Cantu is on drums, James Fenner on percussion, David Evertson on bass, and Mike Barnes on guitar. Vaguely Familiar’s mission is to explore the funky side of jazz.
