Details

This event is full. Feel free to add yourself to the waitlist as I'm sure some spots will open up. The members listed as "Going" have put down a small deposit to hold their permit, but have not completely committed to the trip, pending the detailed itinerary and exact dates which have yet to be determined. That information should be available soon so check back regularly.

Through a coordinated effort, we were able to secure 36 backcountry permits for Grand Teton National Park for the first week of September. To stay within group permit requirements, we are taking 3 groups of 12 to do a 40 mile hike in the heart of the Grand Teton NP.

This will be a strenuous, 4 day / 3 night, high-effort trip, and attendees should plan to train and condition with our group well in advance. Event host has final say on who can attend the event and priority will be given to those that are regular members and who participate in our conditioning hikes.

Trip scope & next steps:
This will be a week-long trip (weekend-to-weekend) and will likely include some sightseeing days to nearby highlights (e.g. Yellowstone and other local gems), in addition to the backcountry itinerary.

Once we confirm the full plan (flights/airport, rental vehicles, lodging, itinerary details), we’ll share the trip itinerary and ask for the next deposit to fully confirm your spot.

Cancellation policy: If you will not be able to make the trip, please change your RSVP to "not going" as soon as you know, so that we can give another member a chance to attend.
