Making 60's Rock Music with Our Friends

Details
Making Harmonies With our fFriends.
Singers and instrumentalists - - all levels of expertise welcome (yes, even beginners).
When: May 24, 2025 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM
Note: A previous event had been postponed to May 23. We had to change to May 24 due to a scheduling conflict.
Two themes: Harmonising, and 60's style Rock (Beatles, Beach Boys, Creedence Clearwater, Roling Stones, Eagles, Simon & Garfunkel, etc. And you know what? "60's rock" isn't just the music that came out of the 60's but it includes music that came along later, such as the work of the Allah Las, Holly Golightly or the Brian Jones Massacre may fit that description, also. The music is in the ears of the beholder.)
We're organizing a sing-along style event at a private home in the Mueller neighborhood of Austin (near the intersection of I-35 and Airport Boulevard).
The music we play is selected by attendees.
We can handle about 10 people at my house. I'm going to cap the number of certain instruments: drums (1 medium size set) and keyboards (2).
You'll still be welcome, but know that someone else may have beaten you out for an instrument spot. If so consider playing a different instrument, such as bass guitar or mandolin.

If you're still reading, this is considered an "open" session. It's an opportunity not just to have fun, get to know people, enjoy but also to make connections for people you might enjoy making music with.
Since the music we play is selected by attendees, please consider suggestion a few songs for us to perform together. Suggesting songs is not required, but please do consider suggesting a few songs for the playlist after you RSVP. We want to focus on song with harmonies somewhere in the song. We may spend some extra time working those parts out.
