What we’re about
This is a group that welcomes people who embroider. We welcome all embroidery styles. From basic embroidery to advance, silk shading to gold work, everyone is welcome. Don't be shy about bringing kits to the Meetup. We think most of the members who want to learn to embroider should begin with prepackaged and printed kits with thread. This is not a "teaching" meetup. We are all going to learn together. As the group grows, and we learn about each other and skill levels, we might be able to offer some specialty meetings.

Let's have Breakfast and do some low-tech embroidery at Central Market North Lamar! We will meet upstairs inside the cafe. Look for the embroidery supplies on the table! Plan to be there before 10:00am if you want lunch or drinks. Service can be slow, even to get a coffee or tea, so give yourself enough time. We do want to support Central Market by purchasing something while we are there.

I can't guarantee I will have extra kits available, so try to pick one from Amazon. With that said, you can always work on any existing project you have. I also love a good "Show & Tell."
Please be sure to keep track of your RSVP. If your plans change, please remove yourself from the list BEFORE the RSVP close date, usually 24 hrs before the start time. (I understand if there are emergencies, so let me know.) If you want to invite friends, please have them join our Meetup first, and then RSVP separately to the event.
