Polyamory Austin is a group for the open, honest discussion of polyamory. If you're curious what poly is all about, this is a no-pressure safe space to learn about it. If you already consider yourself polyamorous, this is the perfect place to find your poly community in Austin.

We talk about choices, trials, triumphs, legal matters, opposition, support, networking, social events, etc. Anyone and everyone is welcome to learn and join in the conversation, and share their perspectives and stories. (Polyamory Defined):
Polyamory n : is the non-possessive, honest, responsible and ethical philosophy and practice of loving multiple people simultaneously. Polyamory emphasizes consciously choosing how many partners one wishes to be involved with rather than accepting social norms which dictate loving only one person at a time. Polyamory is an umbrella term which integrates traditional multi-partner relationship terms with more egalitarian terms. Polyamory embraces sexual equality and all sexual orientations towards an expanded circle of spousal intimacy and love. Polyamory is from the root words Poly meaning many and Amour meaning love hence "many loves" or Polyamory.
