How about we set aside instruction and have some fun shooting?!

For this event, Ash will join us and we will do some fun and exciting model looks. We will do portrait, beauty and more - expect extreme and unusual! All you'll need to bring is your camera - I'll provide a flash transmitter and camera settings. This will be an afternoon of photography fun!

Joining us as a model will be Ash (IG @sortaash). Ash is popular on the local modeling scene and is a wonderful model.

Your enrollment includes photo release for promotional/portfolio use so you'll not only learn about portraiture but you'll also have the opportunity to add to your portfolio.

If you've followed this Meetup group for some time, you'll notice that virtually all of the models have been women and so much of the content has focused on making them look great. However, with this workshop, we will take things in another direction and explore the facets of photographing men. Topics include the following:

• Styling
• Posing and Direction
• Lighting
• Mood/vibe/expression

We will focus on bringing out the bold masculinity of men as well as the whimsical fun side of men. We will explore several different simple lighting set ups to generate different moods and explore different methods of direction/posing.

A professional model, Nish, will be on-hand so you will able to try out the new things you learn.

Your registration includes a non-commercial release so you'll be able to share your images.
