Presentation Title: Build A Power BI Report With The New Dataflows Gen2
SESSION DESCRIPTION:
In this session we’ll build a Power BI report starting from Dataflows Gen2 from Data Factory in Microsoft Fabric to transform the data and send it to a Lakehouse. Then we’ll use Data Pipelines to orchestrate schedule refresh for the Dataflow Gen2 and send alerts. We will see how we can leverage the new Direct Lake mode to create the semantic model in the web. Also, we’ll make use of the external tool Tabular Editor and the XMLA endpoint to build explicit measures in a flash, and finally use Power BI Desktop to connect live to the semantic model and build a thin report with fancy visualizations.
