We bring Austin's music producers together. Through meetups, workshops, and collaborations, producers of every genre and experience level find their people, sharpen their craft, and support one another. Our goal is a lasting community for those behind the city's sound.

📜 HISTORY

Austin Producer Alliance was founded in May 2022 by Kevin Huang and Kyle Henderson to build the city's foremost community for music producers. What began as a Discord server grew into a recurring meetup at the Austin Central Library, then into a collective in partnership with longtime sponsor STATION Austin (formerly Capital Factory). To date, APA has welcomed more than 1,000 producers and creatives to its events.

Austin Community College
ACC’s Audio Technology and Industry department (formerly Music Business, Performance and Technology) is as unique as the Austin music scene. They provide hands-on experience in state-of-the-art recording studios and music production labs, instructors who are active in the global music scene, guest lecturers and performers, field trips and a highly respected internship program. Students will learn industry standard software Pro Tools and Ableton. All this combined makes their degrees and certificates a great entry into the world of commercial music.
