Learn about quantum updates from UT researcher Corey Ostrove/Discuss IBM QX

Details
• What we'll do
After an exciting SxSW with lots of exciting quantum computing activities, we're meeting again to debrief, socialize, and talk about the future of quantum computing in 2018. Dr. Brian La Cour’s student, researcher Corey Ostrove, will also give us the latest updates in quantum from the 2018 American Physical Society (APS) conference.
We'll also discuss IBM's Quntum Experience and how to best utilize their device.
Please bring any questions, insights, or new areas of research to discuss. Feel free to invite anyone who may be interested, and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. Thanks, and I'm excited about meeting up again!
• What to bring
Possibly a computer/tablet, if you would like to explore IBM's Quantum Experience during the event.
• Important to know
Please provide your full name when you RSVP. I've been informed that WeWork requires that guests check in with a photo ID. Please come to 600 Congress and enter the main building entrance on W 6th Street (not the WeWork one as this is a private office) and come to the 14th Floor. Please let me know if you have any questions!
