Is the Price Right?
Details
Austin RAW Conversations is a monthly meetup hosted by Arturo for founders, investors, and operators building and backing early-stage tech companies.
This May session centers on Pricing.
You picked a number.
What informed it?
What did you optimize for?
And what did it actually reveal?
Pricing is one of the few decisions that immediately reflects how you see your customer, your product, and your market.
It shows up in who converts, who hesitates, how you sell, and how your company is perceived long before scale.
Most early pricing isn’t designed. It’s adjusted.
Changed after a lost deal. Lowered to move faster. Raised once there’s traction. Rarely revisited with full context.
This session focuses on those decisions.
We’ll walk through real pricing histories. Founders will share where they started, what they changed, and what happened after. The room will examine the reasoning behind those changes and what the outcomes signaled.
The goal is not only to arrive at the “right” price, but also to understand what your price is driving and signaling.
The session will be interactive. Participation is encouraged.
