Bull Creek Rock Walk: Reading the Landscape

We'll meet next to the parking lot at Bull Creek District Park
6701 Lakewood Dr · Austin, TX.
Come prepared for a regular hike (2-3 miles), but expect a slower pace as we pause along the way to examine rocks and read the landscape around us.
We'll stop at several locations to look at limestone outcrops, fossils, creek features, and springs while discussing the geologic history of the Austin area. No prior geology knowledge is needed.
