Welcome to Austin RVer's

We all have one thing in common: We like to camp & want to make friends that do too. We’re mainly 40’s-70’s, couples/singles. Most have grown kids—a few teenagers. We have RVs, popups, a few tents. Tent campers are welcome but must have their own site.

Camp outs are officially Fri-Sun. However, it’s common that folks will come early and/or stay late. We plan a longer trip on occasion.

Consistent: Friday evening-Meet & Greet (bring appetizers); Saturday-Potluck. Bring firewood or buy a bundle at the park—we love campfires! We’re spontaneous--be proactive at campouts--don’t wait for an invitation. Help lead an activity; invite others!

We like to hike; canoe; kayak; tube. We visit wineries, breweries, restaurants, etc. We’re building friendships--we strive to keep our roster small & active. We’ll look for you to join us on a camp out within 6 months.

We use the GroupMe app to communicate @ camp. Please install it on your phone.

Each camp out has “Details” on the Meetup which contain important information and are only visible to members. Be sure to RSVP on the Meetup; we use this to coordinate. When a NEW camp out is posted, book QUICKLY--DON’T WAIT. Texas parks fill fast.

We don’t have a fee to join--we do accept $$ to cover 1) supplies; 2) the MeetUp.com ~$400 annual subscription fee, 3) occasional shelter rentals, etc.

We use Pay Pal when needed. Set up an account linked to your bank (not cc) so you can use the FREE Friends & Family feature to send/receive $$. Attach your cell # to it, that's easy for all to remember. Another preferred way to send/receive $$ is Zelle.
