What we’re about

Do you remember "show and tell" from when you were a kid? Well, that's what this group is all about... only now we're grown ups, which means we (hopefully) have way cooler "stuff" to show and tell.

Every month, we'll get together in central Austin, and 5+ members will each present whatever they want to the rest of the group for up to 5 minutes (followed by up to 5 minutes of Q&A from the group).

As for what you can present, it can be pretty much anything. Here are just a few random ideas...

A book you really like
A DIY project you're working on
A hobby you enjoy (and might want to share with others)
A business idea or side hustle you're interested in
A travel adventure you're planning
A creative piece (e.g., a song, a painting, a comedy routine, etc.)
A local event you're organizing
...

The purpose of the group is to make new friends and learn about the interesting things we're all doing with our lives.

With that in mind, the "presentations" will be very informal, and each event will be very light and fun. You'll never be forced to present if you don't want to, but hopefully, everyone will present at least once so we can all learn from each other.

We'll meet at 4pm, and then after short introductions, we'll start the presentations.

Each presenter will have up to 5 minutes to present to the rest of the group (followed by up to 5 minutes of Q&A from the group).

After the presentations, we'll just hang out and get to know each other. Since we'll be at Central Market, we can also get food and/or do some grocery shopping.

The presentations will be very informal (seriously, no pressure), and they can be about anything you want. Here are a few random ideas to get your creative juices flowing...
