Presidents Day urban walk along Shoal Creek

Starting from FRANKLIN square, we'll take a 4 mile easy-paced walk along neighborhood streets inspired by US presidents. The route will take us along Shoal Creek (dirt path), visiting Seiders Springs and Signature Park. There is one creek crossing, which is easily hoppable for those of average ability... We will take a short break midway and have a discussion on our favorite US presidents.

The route thru North Austin may include JEFFERSON St, JACKSON Ave, ADAMS Ave, GROVER Ave, WOODROW Ave, ROOSEVELT Ave, MCKINLEY Dr, WASHINGTON Square, LBJ Library, and the Camp Mabry BARACKs... Sadly, we must skip HARRIS Ave.

OK to bring a well-behaved pet on leash. If problems arise, you and your pet will need to depart from the group.

Often we go out for food and drink afterwards.
