The Trail Conservancy’s mission is to protect, enhance, and connect the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail for the benefit of all.

As the new CEO of the Trail Conservancy, Julie Fisher leads efforts to protect, enhance and connect the 10-mile hike-and-bike trail surrounding Lady Bird Lake. . She is an accomplished community leader and advocate who brings a blend of corporate expertise (National Instruments & Samsung), community leadership, and a personal connection to the Trail as an avid runner and nature lover.

Julie holds a B.S. in recreation administration from Texas State University in San Marcos. An Austin native who is deeply committed to the community that shaped her, she is eager to champion upcoming projects like the revitalization of the Seaholm Intake Facility and the Holly Shores redevelopment.

Arrive as early as 6pm at El Mercado (1302 S 1st St) to purchase food and drink. Club updates and program starts at 7pm.
