Join us on a 5 mile, easy-paced, one-way urban walk to the free Earth Day Festival at Huston-Tillotson U. The walk will be along city streets, through the Hancock neighborhood and University of Texas campus, along Waller Creek and the new Waterloo Greenway. The walk will officially end when we reach HTU, as the festival will be spread out and we won't be able to keep track of everyone.

Food and drink can be purchased at the event or bring your own.

It is recommended to bring $1.25 exact change or use the Umo app to ride CapMetro back to the start. The nearest bus stop (Route 322) is at the SE corner of Chicon & E9th. The bus runs twice an hour at approx :09 and :39 past the hour. If you choose to walk back, it is 3 miles as the crow flies. If you'd like to attend the Zilker Kite Festival afterwards, the Route 4 bus runs nearby (saves $25 parking fee).

Participants must sign a Liability Waiver at the trailhead. You may view the waiver document: https://tinyurl.com/SCSignUpSheet2020 .
