Rules:

1. Small Dogs Only: Only small, friendly dogs (under 25 pounds) are allowed at our meetups to ensure safe and comfortable play for all. Please do not bring larger dogs or dogs with aggressive tendencies, as this could disrupt the group dynamic.

2. Honor Your RSVP: Please honor your RSVP. If you or your guest can’t make it, change your status from “going” to “not going” at least a few hours before the event. While we understand things come up, habitual no-shows (3 or more) will result in suspension or removal from the group. If you’re having trouble finding us at an event, send me a private message through the app.

3. Punctuality for Walks: For group walks, I’ll wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you arrive early, please wait for the group, as we all know Austin traffic can be tough. If you’re running late, message me directly through the app, and I’ll post on our group wall if I’m delayed.

4. Profile Photo Requirement: After joining, please upload a clear photo of yourself or your dog to help us recognize you at meetups. I’ll often post photos of my Maltipoo, Brownie, or hold a sign to make it easier to spot me. Members who don’t upload a photo within one month of joining may be removed from the group.

5. Active Participation: To keep our community vibrant, please stay engaged by attending meetups or interacting in the group. Members who haven’t attended or been active for more than 6 months (from July 26, 2025) may be removed. I’m currently paying $47 a month to keep this group active, as many Meetup groups have shut down due to rising costs. Some groups charge fees to stay afloat, and while I’m testing the group now, if prices increase in the future, I may bring on Co-Organizers, Assistants, or Event Organizers and potentially request a small fee to keep the group going. Your participation helps make this worthwhile!
