About us
The start of this wonderfully diverse community was when Tyler made a reddit post looking for new friends, and was overwhelmed with the number of interested parties. We've been steadily growing from there, and now have events weekly. The events posted here are held at Bat City Games and Comics and are open to everyone. Games start at 6pm and run until the shop closes at 10. Tables are first come first serve, you can bring your own game or try something out from the shop's demo wall. I hope to see you soon, and of course look forward to seeing all the fun games that make it to the tables.

Bat City Board Game Night (South Austin)
Bat City Games & Comics, 5001 US-290, Austin, TX, USWho says all the best board game venues are in North Austin. Every Saturday night Bat City Games and Comics is hosting Bat City Board Game Night! Games start at 6pm and run until the shop closes at 10pm.
Have a new favorite game you really want to play bring it along and see if you can find some willing participants. Or take advantage of the shop's demo ever expanding demo wall which includes games like The White Castle, Root, Everdell, and classics like Ticket to Ride. There are drinks and snacks available for purchase at the store, and we do encourage guest to do so and help support our friendly local game shop. I look forward to seeing you, and of course all the games that make it to the tables tonight!
Negative or descriminatory behavior will not be tolerated, we are all here to have fun and experience some new board games.
There may be Saturday's where events will be postponed/cancelled in the case of holidays, special events, ect. If that happens the meetup page will reflect that.
