💙 Join us for the NINTH Austin TouchDesigner Meetup at dadaLab on Wednesday, May 27th, from 7:30–9:30 PM! This meetup is all about bringing together the local TouchDesigner community to connect, share, and get inspired.

We’ll feature a special workshop from MITCH CHAIET of Experiential Technologies on the basics of creative engineering for robotics. Plus, we will feature a presentation from mechatronic installation artist DUSTIN FRANCO, demoing his new TD-driven robotic art installation, Cold Tongue. Learn more about Mitch and Dustin below!

Plus, we are continuing our Show & Tell Sandbox—a casual space where anyone can bring their laptop to share projects, get feedback, or collaborate with fellow TouchDesigner enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting started, come hang out, learn something new, and help shape this growing creative community!

Dustin Franco is a firmware engineer and mechatronic installation artist who will discuss how TouchDesigner can interface directly with electromechanical robotic systems. He'll demo his robotic light show "Cold Tongue" to show how visual programming can bridge into physical machine choreography.

Mitch Chaiet, a creative technologist from Austin, TX, combines skills in AI, interactive installations, XR, filmmaking, web development, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) research. Proficient in TouchDesigner, Unity, Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Cloud, Full Stack Web Development and Python, Mitch creates immersive experiences, exploring virtual production with computer vision and generative AI workflows.
