UXPA Austin: Board Member Info Session
Thinking about joining the UXPA Austin board? Come find out what it's about.
We're opening five board seats for the coming term, and this session is your chance to hear what each one involves, ask questions, and figure out whether it's a fit before you apply. No commitment, no pressure. Just bring your curiosity.
We'll walk through the five open roles:
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Sponsorship
- Events
We'll cover what each role actually does week to week, the time it takes, what we're looking for, and how the application works. Then we'll open it up for questions, so come with whatever you want to know.
You don't need prior board experience to serve. You need to care about the UX community in Austin and want to help it grow. Whether you're a designer, researcher, or somewhere adjacent, there's a place for you here.
