This year's global theme is Designing a Sustainable Future with Ethical AI. It asks how AI can support environmental stewardship and social equity while respecting cultural diversity and human rights.
The event will be:
- Friday, November 13, 2026
- 10 AM to 1:00 PM
- Austin Public Library - University Hills Branch

Interested in presenting at this year's event? We want talks that show people putting the theme, Designing a Sustainable Future with Ethical AI, into practice in real products, research, and frameworks.
Your proposal can speak to any of the theme's four dimensions:
- Ethical AI stewardship
- Global interdependence
- Sustainability through intelligence
- Cultural and ethical pluralism
Climate, digital inequality, sustainable cities, and AI governance all fit.
You can propose a full presentation or a lightning talk or product demo.
