From Zero to Greenlight: Our Next Austin Weekend Short Film

We’re an active Austin filmmaking group, and this meetup exists to decide what we shoot next.
We’ve completed our first short film. Now it’s time to decide what we make next.
This is a focused, collaborative idea session to generate and pressure-test short film concepts that are actually shootable on weekends. We’ll pitch ideas, break into small groups, and refine them until a few clear frontrunners emerge.
The goal is not theory or endless brainstorming.
The goal is momentum.
By the end of the session, we aim to leave with:

• Several strong, shootable short film concepts
• At least one idea ready to move into scripting
• Clear direction for our next weekend shoots

You don’t need a finished script.
You don’t even need a fully formed idea.
