Our next meetup will be a talk given by Jyothi Vinjumur - PHD, Staff Data Scientist, ESI strategies at Walmart Tech.
The talk will address how machine learning is used in eDiscovery and Information Governance. It will be a great opportunity to learn about another hot ML application.

About our speaker
Jyothi Vinjumur is a Staff Data Scientist at Walmart. She joined us on August 5th. She has been working with the Discovery and Operations Group for over a year as a Data Consultant. Jyothi has over 6 years of experience developing TAR models for reducing eDiscovery review cost. Her PhD dissertation focused on the Use of Predictive Coding Techniques to identify Privileged Documents. Her experience working as a Data Scientist and as an Engineer in eDiscovery domain gives her the knowledge to optimize the data flow processes with cost optimization as the main focus. Prior to her PhD, she has worked as a Software Engineer for 3 years.

While she is not working, she is spending time with her 2 year old daughter and her husband. She enjoys baking, painting and volunteering as a teacher during her free time. She an active member of “Girls Who Code” organization and “Women in EDiscovery” ATX chapter.
