Details
If you’ve ever stared at a networking invite and thought, “I want connection...(and I know I should go...) but I just don’t have the energy for this…” — you’re not alone.
This virtual workshop was created with you in mind: the overworked, multi-passionate, curious, or in-transition woman in software engineering who’s craving real community, but isn’t sure where to start (or how to show up when she gets there).
You’ll leave with:
- Conversation starters that don’t feel cringe
- Simple, genuine networking & follow-up strategies based off of your networking goals
- Mindset shifts to quiet imposter syndrome and that “who am I to reach out?” voice
- Confidence to build or rebuild your network — even if you’re starting from scratch
- Sparks of connection — with yourself and other women & nonbinary folks in software engineering
This is for you if:
- You’re tired of feeling isolated in your career and want to connect with women & other folks who get it
- You’re navigating a layoff or transition and want support from a community that sees your worth
- You’ve been putting off networking because it feels awkward, intimidating, or unclear, & need some clear direction on strategies
- You want your network to work for you — not just be a dusty LinkedIn list you only open in a panic
- You identify as a woman or non-binary person in the Software Engineering space
Bring your journal, your favorite drink, an open mind, and some comfy clothes, cuz this is community-building from the couch.
Hosted by Haley Scruggs, Creative Confidence Coach & Career Strategist for Women in Tech, in partnership with AWSE
