For our April meetup, John Pope from Viasat will be talking about some of the pitfalls that python developers often expose themselves to when taking shortcuts for the sake of convenience. For instance, he'll talk about how it's easy to want to skip SSL configuration in your development environments and why you shouldn't (an MITM demo will be presented in a dockerized environment), as well as the danger of committing your passwords to git.

We're also eager to get lightning talks and have discussions around the general topic of security and Python.
