Talk (in-person): Paul Bailey : Async Patterns in Django
Talk desctiption:
Django is increasingly supporting more asynchronous features. This talk will give you a tour of Django's latest asynchronous capabilities and how and when to use them. Additionally, you'll learn about several asynchronous web protocols like WebSockets, Server Sent Events, etc and how to implement them in Django.
Bio:
Paul Bailey is a web developer with a background in aerospace engineering. He is currently a Principal Engineer with Clarity Schools where he develops financial applications for the education sector. He has many years of experience speaking and running meetups in the open source community. In addition to being a Web and aerospace geek, he is a father of three and can cook a pretty mean pizza from scratch. He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University..
