Starting a business is hard. We're going to talk about the top ways that people have caused major legal problems for themselves over the years. Everything from contracts to regulatory agencies will be discussed.

Speaker Bio
Steve Swernofsky is a startup and intellectual property lawyer with a love of technology. He graduated from MIT with a BS in 6-3 (that's EE & CS) and UCLA Law. He ended up working on Intellectual Property, working on technology and the companies which develop it. After spending a number of years litigating at large law firms, he went out on his own and primarily works with smaller companies who need a more personal touch. In addition to regular legal work, he now offers "bite size" advice to those who need just a little help now to avoid needing a lot of help later on.
