The Austin Python Meetup Monthly Meetup

Details
We typically have a main presentation or a series of lightning talks, followed by discussion and Q&A. There is a diversity of domains and experience levels represented, so come with your questions and be prepared to talk about how you use Python!
In this event Leanne Fitzpatrick will talk about nbdev, a literate programming environment.
Jupyter notebooks are excellent for exploration, particularly for analytics and visualization. However, when it comes to developing a library or self-contained code, we can find ourselves copying and pasting to our favorite text editor or IDE. In this presentation Leanne will present nbdev, an elegant solution to this problem developed by fast.ai.
Thad Getterman will present on "Creating and publishing a Python Package".
After the meetup, we will reconvene at a bar for further discussions. This month we will go to The Russia House at 307 E 5th St, Austin, TX 78701.
The Capital Factory has (a limited number of) coupons for $7 parking after 5pm in the Omni Parking lot. Remember to ask for a validation ticket from Capital Factory staff.
