We typically have a main presentation or a series of lightning talks, followed by discussion and Q&A. There is a diversity of domains and experience levels represented, so come with your questions and be prepared to talk about how you use Python!

This meetup Yuriy Pakhotin Senior Big Data Engineer / ML Scientist from GM will discuss Python with self Driving Cars:

Recent advantages in application of deep learning to image processing and object recognition boosted interest in developing self-driving capabilities for vehicles in natural and artificial environments. In this talk we will learn about how self-driving cars work, what are the current progress and challenges. We will review what tools and resources are available in Python ecosystem for starting your own self-driving project.

Also, Silas Barta will present on the nand2tetris http://www.nand2tetris.org/ course (also on Coursera), in which you implement a computer from its hardware components up through an assembler, compiler, and operating system, and his experience in completing it with Python code.
