We have a special treat in store for our February meetup!

Negotiation is probably not your favorite thing to do, but there are times when you can't avoid it. Knowing even just a little about how to negotiate can help a lot, and might have a big positive impact on your life. In this presentation we'll talk about the basics of negotiation, and then focus in on what could cumulatively be the biggest negotiations of your life - getting & negotiating job offers.

Danny Mulligan and Lisa Novak have presented on this topic to APUG twice before, and the presentations were so well received that I asked them to come back and present again. Danny told me that the last time they presented this material, there was someone in the audience who by chance had just gotten a job offer - a month later he reported back that he had been about to accept the offer, but after the presentation he had gone back and gotten the company to improve the offer, not once but twice.

So please come out and join us at the Atlassian offices at 7pm on Wednesday for this fun and insightful event!
