4th Annual ASL Ardbeg Day / June Scotch Social

Longtime members know that Ed is a huge Ardbeg fan! This will be our 4th annual Ardbeg Day Event at Ed's! This year we are holding it ON ACTUAL ARDBEG DAY! WOW!

Please bring a bottle to share if you wish, but not a requirement for this social! It does not have to be Ardbeg! Ha ha! Ed wanted to have a social celebrating Ardbeg and there will be many Ardbegs there for you to try! If you have one you want to share, please bring it, but make sure you have your name on it! But we know not everyone likes peat and so there will be other types of Scotch and something for everyone! Please don't try to sample all the whiskies.

Cigars can be smoked in the back yard. Please bring your cigars if you would like to smoke.

A reminder about how the Scotch socials work:

• Please bring at least one bottle of whisky to share at the event, if you wish. You will take your whisky home with you when you go. It does not need to be a new bottle.
• Some food is provided but if you would like to bring some food to share, that is always appreciated.
• You may bring a friend, but please RSVP and add the number of guests you will bring so the host knows how many people to expect.
• Please be kind and keep your RSVP up to date if your plans change.

These are truly our favorite events as it's an informal way to try new whiskies and meet other whisky enthusiasts of all levels - the true core of what our group is about!

The Austin Scotch Lovers is a group for people 21 and over. We expect that all members and their guests will drink responsibly. Please rideshare if possible or have a designated driver for your group.

Health and Safety Reminders:
Scotch socials are meant to be a chance to meet up with fellow members and try some new whisky. Often there will be quite a selection of bottles from which to choose. These events are meant to be an opportunity to try some whiskies, not all! Please choose wisely and drink responsibly. Whisky is a powerful drink and though we always celebrate its glory, we are also respectful of its effect. We love our socials as a celebration of Scotch loving in Austin, and invite you take part responsibly.
