Febuary 12th *South* Weeknight Discussion Meetup

We are trying a new location. The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel downtown, on North I-35 between 5th and 6th Streets. The entrance to the hotel is on 5th Street about 100 ft west of the freeway. We will meet in the bar on the 18th floor, which serves food. Parking on the street is free after 6:00 PM. There is additional parking under I-35 between 6th and 8th Streets. In addition, if you purchase dinner or a drink in the bar, then valet parking is just $2.00. Have your parking ticket stamped in the bar.

Meetings last 2.5 to 3 hours. We'll start the meeting off by reading works (silently) from those that have brought something to share then we'll take turns discussing them. If you want to bring a piece to share please bring at least 4-5 copies and keep it under 2,000 words. From there if time allows we will branch into a discussion of topics related to writing.

Please add line numbers to your piece. This will speed up our commenting process, by allowing reviewers to link their comments to a specific line rapidly and efficiently. To add line numbers in Microsoft Word, go to Page Layout, click on Line Numbers and then check Continuous.

Suggested donation. Meetup charges organizers a fee to run the group. So, the suggested donation of $2.00 is to help me cover the meetup fees. Anything you can donate helps, but we won't kick you out if you can't spare a couple of dollars.
