What we’re about
This is a group for Australians living in Tokyo, learning Japanese and wanting to socialize with local Japanese people.
We are an international couple, Australian husband and Japanese wife, trying to create an international place to be outside work/school or home.
We rent a small cafe in order to regularly have a language exchange with local Japanese people, to practice speaking Japanese.
You are welcome to join us!

Hi, Aussies in Tokyo!
We are renting a cafe in Otaku, Tokyo, just near where we live to have a language exchange cafe to practice speaking Japanese.
We usually have it on Saturdays.
Craig is from Dorrigo, NSW, and I (Masako) am from Tokyo.
We lived in Sydney, but moved to Japan 12 years ago.
Craig just passed N4 in JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and needs to practice speaking!!
There are usually participants of different levels and nationalities.
If your Japanese is not conversational level yet, a volunteer Japanese teacher will give you a small lesson on the spot, as long as you let us know beforehand.
