Join the Vienna Galahs Australian Football Club – Austria’s home of Aussie Rules Football (AFL)!
We welcome everyone – all genders, athletes and total beginners alike. No previous knowledge or skills needed. Whether you want to:
✅ Try out a fast, fun, team sport you’ve probably never played before
✅ Be part of the first FLINTA/women’s AFL team in Austria
✅ Or just hang out, watch, and enjoy a beer with a great community
…you’ll find a spot with us.
We train regularly in Vienna and often finish up with a social get-together. AFL is growing quickly across Europe.

We’re usually 10–20 people and always happy to welcome new faces – whether you’re curious to try the sport, just want to be active outdoors, or simply fancy meeting new people and having a drink after. 🍻
No experience needed – we’ll teach you the basics. All genders are welcome. Right now, we’re especially excited to grow Austria’s first FLINTA/women’s AFL team – so come give it a go!
