Eurodollar System - The great illusion of Bank Vault and the Shadow Reserve System

For over a century, our money hasn’t really been "money". It’s been entries on ledgers, promises written in digital ink; a ghost of money, living in balance sheets and databases.

Banks, far from being warehouses of gold and cash, became glorified bookkeepers. Then, sometime in the mid-20th century, dollars began to multiply outside the United States: a vast shadow reserve system that operates beyond Central Banks' reach.
